An AIFF Elite Academy graduate, he progressed through the ranks being a part of the U17, U19 and U23 National Team setups before making his debut for the Senior team in 2017. He won the SAFF U16 Championships with the Indian team. Fondly called ‘Singa Kutti’ by the Chennaiyin FC Fans, Jerry was a fan favorite and an integral part of Chennaiyin FC from 2016-2022. Jerry was an ISL winner with Chennaiyin FC and was adjudged the emerging player of the season in the 2016 ISL.

Jerry is now plying his trade with East Bengal FC in the ongoing Indian Super League and is one of the few left-backs in the league with more than 100 appearances in the ISL at the age of 24.
