An AIFF academy graduate, Nishu signed his first professional contract with Bengaluru FC, winning the Indian Super League, I-League and Federation Cup. He was a regular National team player who often appeared for the Senior and age group National teams.
After spending 5 years with Bengaluru FC, Nishu moved to Kerala Blasters FC in the 2020-21 season of the Indian Super League making him one of the most expensive defenders in the country. He is one of the key players for the team and a fan favourite amongst Blasters fans.
With a strong engagement rate on Social media, Nishu has associated with global brands like MG, Liverpool FC and Puma to name a few.
