MUHAMMED NEMIL

Growing up in a humble household and playing street football in Calicut in Kerala, Nemil earned a scholarship through the prestigious Reliance Football Young Champs (RFYC) academy where he was educated on and off the field.

Nemil had brilliant domestic seasons in various age group tournaments with RFYC and bagged the best midfielder in the Mumbai Super Division and Player of The Tournament in the U-17 Subroto Cup in 2018. Nemil was sent to Marcet’s High-Performance Academy in Spain by RFYC in 2019 and was later loaned out to Gramanet’s U18 squad in Spain.

After his impressive performance in the domestic circuit in India and in Spain with Marcet, Nemil was in the spotlight of Indian Super League scouts. In 2020, Nemil penned a four-year deal with FC Goa and has then been one of their standout performers in the Durand Cup 2022.
