Hailing from Punjab, Lara Sharma started his professional football career with the Tata Football Academy. Lara has represented the U-18 Indian National team which finished third in the U18 SAFF Championship. Lara Sharma was also a part of the AIFF’s developmental team Indian Arrows in the 2017-18 season.

Lara before moving to Bengaluru FC had a 2-year stint with ATK where he was a part of its reserves and senior squad. Lara was one of the standout players for Bengaluru FC in the Durand Cup 2021 and kept a clean sheet for the former Indian Super League champions in his ISL debut for the team. Lara was awarded a contract extension for another 3 years for his splendid ISL 2021-22 performance for the Blues.

Lara is currently on a growth journey supported by brands like Tuto and Puma and is one to look out for in the future.
